Wade's World!

Now you might at first think this is a post about myself. But it's not. Yes my name is Wade, but this post is about a guy whose last name is Wade. Dwayne Wade. Remember last week when i wrote about LeBron James and how great he is. Well there is one person who is going to compete with him for years to come. Dwayne Wade. He is also a ridiculously gifted basketball player. In the 4th quarter last night he stuck a dagger into the heart of the Pistons scoring 31 points. He twisted the dagger when he received a pass from Gary Payton and took it to the basket hard. He was undercut by a defender and as he was falling hard to the ground, flipped up a shot off the backboard and in. After, he just smirked knowing it was luck mixed with skill. The assured smirk also symbolized how he knew his time had come and the Piston's time has waned like last month's full moon.

the only thing Wade has to work on is his turnovers. Once he solves that problem he is the best player in basketball. He has a better shot than Lebron he might be quicker, and he is able to raise his game. Unlike Lebron he has Shaq to back him up. It probably makes his job easier. Either way, I am looking forward to the future of the NBA.

Prince on American Idol

So Prince was on AI last night. Supposedly everyone is talking about it like it was the best performance since sliced bread. I just watched it online. For a prince performance, it was absolutely terrible. He was sleepwalking through the whole thing. That's the thing with Prince, People who don't see him perform see him half ass it and it is the greatest thing on the planet, then they never go see him in concert or buy his music. It's absolutely crazy. He half asses everything on TV. In Concert, he has so much energy it is the most ridiculous thing you could see. He Dances, plays guitar, piano, bass, sings and hits on the hottest girl in the front row while entertaining 25,000 people. You have to see it to believe it.

On the show last night he performed Lolita, probably the most radio friendly song on his new album 3121 and Satisfied one of 3 ballads off of 3121. I like both songs. Lolita is a fun track. I don't think he showed on stage how fun it really is. I think in concert he would be running and dancing more on stage. Satisfied is a sultry blues number and I really like the lyrics to the song. As a whole 3121 is a really good album. People should buy it. I feel like I'm rambling, but below are the lyrics to both songs.

The link above is to my dog So Co. He's awesome. He's a puppy and gets crazy from time to time, but he is a wonderful sweet dog. I have to put my fence up so he can run.

The NBA messed up on Sunday. They had a chance to have 3 I repeat, 3 game 7's on in one day. That would be awesome! LeBron, then the fantastic Spurs Mavs, and finally the Clippers Suns series. All 3 series were fantastic. But no, Stern messed up. 2 game 7's were on last night, and a majority of the country only got to see one. I watched the Spurs and the Mavs. I like that Dallas won. When did Tim Duncan start making that face everytime he is called for something? It's really annoying. For the supposed nicest guy in the league he certaintly whines more than anyone. I have stopped liking him because of this incessant whining. I will root against him every time he plays now. He is a superstar and gets calls, no need to complain when 9 out of 10 calls go your way.

Pistons vs Heat- I pick the pistons again in 7. I don't think the Miami Heat team is as good as they were last year. They don't strike me as a team. Teams win championships. The Heat look like a bunch of guys playing pickup that don't enjoy playing with each other but still win.

Dallas vs Suns. Dallas. The Suns are tired. Nash is tired. When you are tired you can't run and play terrible D. Dirk will pull it out. Hopefully the finals will be exciting.

I hope Dallas wins. If only for Mark Cuban. He is the best owner in sports(followed by Arte Moreno, most know why I said this). It will be good for basketball if the Mavs win.

So I've been blogging for a week, I've done pretty well. I don't have a lack of things to talk about. I will avoid giving up alot of personal details. I will mostly give thoughts about different things. Sorry to disappoint. I'm sure my personal thoughts about certain things will come through and I may relate a past experience so don't fret

Weekend

Last weekend was the first time in 6 months I didn't have to study. It was really odd. Since I decided to go back to Law school, by Saturday and Sunday's have considted of waking up, studying for 10 hours, trying to eat and do some chores in between, then going to sleep. Some days I didn't even shower!

Last weekend I got up on Saturday, hung out with my dog, mowed thelaw, vacuumed half the house, took a shower, then spent the rest ofthe day with Megan's family. Sunday I did laundry and went to some steeple horse race. It was very relaxing. I did miss studying though. I have decided I like learning and I am very happy I am going back to school. It is just what my life needed. Hopefully I can get out of this shit job and shit company in a few years.

This weekend, I have NOTHING planned. Just dog training and laundry. NOTHING. I will watch basketbal, play and train the pooch and hang out with the GF. that is seriously nice. I need to put Ant traps in the yard as well. If it doens't ran I will mow thelawn again. It's nice having regular weekends. Next weekend beach season starts. I'm not the biggest beach fan but it can be fun from time to time.

Witness

Witness you ask? Well it's Nike's new promotion of LeBron James. Nike probably to use the campaign as a stepping stone to the future greatness of LeBron James. He would be knocked out of the playoffs early this year, and next year we would witness the evolution of LeBron. Well, it has happened sooner. It has been a joy to watch James grow up in the post season. The rap on him was he couldn't come through in the clutch. He did 3 times against Washington, winning 2 games on last second shots.

Next up was the Detroit Pistons. The overwhelming favorites to win the NBA championship. The first game, LeBron was blown out. The second game, the same but you saw something. LeBron led a 4th quarter comeback. It fell short, but gave them momentum going into game 3. Game 3 you ask? He dropped a triple double and the Cavs won. He only scored 21 points, but he made everyone around him better.

Rasheed Wallace opened his mouth and said the Cavs were done. Well, Lebron Tied the series. He led his team again to a win.

Then last night, he did the same. He had 31 points. But there is one thing that singles LeBron out from almost every other selfish superstar in the league. The last play of the game he had the ball, he was doubleteamed, and instead of taking a bad shot,(like Kobe, Iverson, McGrady and a host of others would do) he found an open Drew Gooden under the basket for a layup and the win. It was shades of Michael Jordan telling Steve Kerr and John Paxon that if he was double teamed they were getting the ball and they were going to hit the game winner. LeBron has faith in his team mates and they have faith in him. His will to win flows over to his team mates and they play better than the talent they have. It is a gift only a few have. Bird, Magic, Jordan(when he figured it out), West. LeBron has it at 21. How great will he be?

LeBron's surrounding cast is no better than Kobe Bryant's. However LeBron makes EVERYONE around him better, and Kobe is sitting at home fishing. James has the best team in basketball on the ropes. He may not win the series, but who knew this would happen so fast? I sure didn't. LeBron knows how to win, he has a killer instinct and it is only a matter of time before he wins an NBA championship or 5. We are witnessing the birth of the best basketball player ever to pick up a basketball when it is all said and done. And he is only 21. It brings joy to my heart. Basketball is fun to watch again.

1st new Blog

So I figure everyone else is doing a blog, why not me? I will pretty much talk about random things

I'm bored at work. Did I mention I hate my job? School is out and hopefully I did well.

My dog rocks. He's 11 weeks old and getting bigger every day.

I am really upset at the summer movie prospects. I have counted 3 movies I want to see. 1 of them I'm not even sure I want to see. X3. It's supposedly really bad. It looks bad. I can't wait for Superman and Pirates of the Carribean. Both movies should be great.

I think I will get a Nintendo Wii. Especially after Lucas Arts said they want to develop a Jedi game for it. That will Rock.
